She is also a GPA-approved grant writing trainer.
She has personally written winning multi-million-dollar federal grants, global development grants, state grants, multiple six-figure research grants, and corporate, private, and community foundation proposals for more than 100 nonprofit, government, and academic clients. Through her flagship program, Grant Writing Made Easy, she has trained over 10,000 students to clearly articulate their missions, strengthen proposals, and secure sustainable funding.
Dr. Kurlinkus works at the intersection of grant writing, ethics, and practical AI adoption. Rather than treating AI as a shortcut—or a threat—she teaches grant professionals how to use it responsibly, covering real-world issues like data privacy, ethical boundaries, effective prompting, workflow integration, and how to confidently discuss AI use with staff, boards, and funders.
Smarter Grant Writing with AI brings this experience together in a practical, step-by-step approach designed for working grant professionals—helping you save time, improve clarity, and stay credible while leading smarter grant work in an AI-powered environment.
