Texting is seriously underutilized by nonprofits. The organizations doing it well are really standing out, deepening supporter relationships, and celebrating a stronger ROI than on any other channel. Join Amanda Speer with Mission Generosity and Caroline Griffin with Marketer on a Mission for a workshop series to launch or grow your nonprofit’s SMS/MMS program.
About the workshops
This 3-part workshop series is designed to help your nonprofit confidently launch (or clean up) your SMS program—guesswork removed. We cover how to choose the right texting platform and budget for this channel, tactics to ethically grow and re-engage your phone numbers, and a realistic content calendar with examples.
What you’ll receive
- ✓3 workshop recordings, yours on demand
- ✓The accompanying slide decks
- ✓An editable content calendar
Inside the series
Three sessions, three outcomes for your SMS program
Session 1
Choose the right platform — and budget for it
You’ll learn which SMS platform is right for your organization based on pricing, features, and CRM integration, and how to budget for both the platform fees and messages themselves.
Session 2
Grow your list and revive dormant numbers
You’ll make a two-pronged plan to ethically collect new phone numbers and re-engage existing phone contacts, finally turning your dusty numbers into an active and growing revenue source.
Session 3
Map out what to send, and when
You’ll learn about automated text journeys for new supporters and donors, and take inspiration from examples to fill in your own SMS/MMS calendar, following a proven cadence and content mix.
“I have benefited so much from this class. I appreciate all the teaching and sharing you both did, Caroline and Amanda! I am so ready to get started.”
