Free Nonprofit Webinar: Virtual Engagement - How to Create Participatory Virtual Experiences that Keep your Donors Engaged in Times of Crisis
Live

If You Register and Cannot Attend, You Will Get the Webinar Recording & Slides

Join us for a hands-on training where you will learn how to create participatory virtual experiences for your supporters.

Worried that the cancellation of your in-person experiences (events, meetings, tours, performances, and trips) will lead to lost donations and connections?

Wondering what else to do besides update your donors and ask for money?

COVID-19 is creating an urgent need for human connection in a time when virtual experiences are the only option - and connection is only created through participation.  It’s time to dial up your virtual engagement strategy and steward those critical supporters through participatory experiences.

During This Nonprofit Webinar You Will Learn:

  • How to design a participatory virtual experience
  • How to properly utilize participatory virtual experiences to achieve your goals
  • How to transfer the participatory elements of in-person experience to a virtual one
  • How to market participatory virtual experiences to your audience
  • How to assess your tech needs for participatory virtual experiences
  • How to be an excellent virtual facilitator

You’ll Get These BONUS Materials:

  1. The Webinar Slides
  2. The Webinar Recording

This is NOT about creating virtual content like blog posts and videos that get lost in the noise. This is about creating virtual experiences that invite your supporters to engage directly with your team.

This is also NOT about investing in expensive software or learning an entirely new platform. This is about using the resources you have to enhance participation in your virtual experiences and engage those supporters and volunteers whose time, talent, and treasure is needed most.

By the end of this 60-minute webinar you will walk away with ideas for how to use participatory virtual experiences in your donor engagement strategy, and have the exact tips and tools to make those experiences participatory.

Caliopy is specifically qualified to teach this webinar because:

  1. She has consulted many organizations whose supporters can’t experience the mission firsthand (humanitarian aid and environmental conservation groups among them) in developing robust virtual experiences.
  2. She has helped foundations and nonprofits create compelling participatory virtual site-visits.
  3. She is actively working with organizations in the COVID-19 era to transform their in-person experiences (events, meetings, tours, performances, and trips) to virtual experiences.
  4. She is a practitioner as well as a scholar, who studies how participatory experiences change people. She makes the best research in social psychology and anthropology immediately actionable and applicable to your nonprofit.

What Attendees Said about This Nonprofit Webinar:

“There was a lot of valuable information that can be implemented immediately and used for more long-range planning. The speaker was very knowledgeable and had current real-world examples and ideas of the concepts.”

Gabi Hughes, Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania

“I am grateful to CharityHowTo for their online webinars.  I always leave with new ideas to move our organization forward.”

Julie Rubsam, NICHES Land Trust

“Best webinar I have seen since the start of COVID-19.  Packed with practical ideas and examples.”

Erica Sklar

“CharityHowTo has done such a great job adding value to our campaigns for fundraising that it has replaced local "experts." I am pleased to say we have saved a lot of money and are communicating better with our donor community. Thank you, CharityHowTo!”

Dean Hahn, Iron Academy

“The webinar got me thinking out of the box on how to keep donors and members engaged.  Thank you CharityHowTo!”

Cindy Kunnas, Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau

“I think this is absolutely AMAZING that ChartiyHowTo is willing to host FREE webinars to non-profits like myself.  This is my first experience and I plan to attend many more webinars.  Such a great addition to my repertoire of knowledge!!”

Carol Gock, Glock Foundation

“CharityHowTo helped me think out of the box in how to engage and thank donors, critical volunteers, board members and other important people supporting our organization.  The free webinar they offered also helped me consider other potential fundraising events during the shelter-in-place.”

Donna Cala, Bishop O’dowd High School

“The webinar provided new information about how to enhance virtual experiences. They were not selling a product or platform - the information seems like it can be applied to various situations and groups. As an event professional, I felt this was one of the few webinars that I've seen which goes beyond elementary information but actually provides new insights and ideas. For those who are not event professionals I still feel this was a useful webinar that would be accessible to all.”

Libby Hodgin, DPS Foundation

“Time extremely well spent! She was descriptive enough yet to the point. I felt I was constantly engaged and learning during the entire webinar. As I stated before, time extremely well spent!”

Anna DeJulia, Eastern Christian School

“CharityHowTo is incredibly generous with providing free webinars with useful content. That gives me confidence that when I pay for content, it will be even more in-depth. I so appreciate the chance to learn from others.”

Julia Zaher, University of Michigan
