Once upon a time, 80% of your revenues came from 20% of your donors. Today, that ratio is more like 90% of your revenues come from 10% of your donors. And, as Giving USA highlights, we know that in any given year, over 70% of contributed income comes from individual donors. Whether you are in a large, medium, or small fundraising shop; it doesn’t matter any longer. The question is, are you poised to maximize your revenues based on these giving patterns?

Join Robin L. Cabral, MA, CFRE, MFIA, Chief Fundraising Strategist and Coach at Development Consulting Solutions, as she takes you through the steps she used to develop her organization’s major gift portfolios which can apply to any sized fundraising shop. Robin is a certified CharityHowTo Topic Expert on a variety of fundraising topics.

Whether your nonprofit is large or small, Robin will show you how to build either your first, or your best, major gift portfolio to focus your efforts on the 10% of the donors who are giving the 90% of contributed income.

What You Will Learn from this Free Nonprofit Webinar:

  • How to find and identify major gift prospects.
  • How to rate and rank donors to focus a major gift portfolio through a series of “Tiers”.
  • How to qualify and cultivate major gift prospects through discovery visits.
  • How to build your ideal portfolio and how many prospects are needed to meet your revenue goals.
  • How to develop a revenue goal for each donor.
  • How to create a schedule of moves for each identified prospect with each “Tier” of donors.
  • How to effectively manage the major gift portfolio over time even with time constraints.
  • How to use your Case for Support to create donor offers that will inspire a gift.
  • And, much, much more!
