Interactive Workshop: Win Big with a Competitive Head Start: Securing Six- and Seven-Figure Grants
Workshop

Level: Intermediate

Workshop Date & Time:

Wednesday, March 25th, 2026: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, ET

For a six- and seven-figure grant application (or larger) to be competitive, you should not start when the application guidelines and deadline are announced; you should start BEFORE it is even open. It is like a running race, and you are looking to get a competitive advantage against your competitors in the form of a head start.

In today’s rapidly changing funding climate, small and medium-sized nonprofits still pursue large grants—six figures or more—but they face even steeper odds of success due to shifts in the government grant landscape and the simultaneous increase in the utilization of AI in writing applications. Despite their passion and dedication, many applications are denied, not necessarily due to the quality of the work they do, but because they lack the strategic preparation required to compete.

The bar for competitiveness is higher than ever. Too often, organizations—eager to secure support—rush into writing without investing the time to align with funder expectations, analyze the current funding landscape, or build the infrastructure needed for a compelling, policy-aware proposal.

In this workshop, we will teach you how to facilitate a process that is your running race head start - the competitive advantage that can be used to support any grant application process, but is FANTASTIC for large grants (whether foundation or government) or six- or seven-figures (or more!) so that your actual writing work in grant applications is as competitive as possible.
