Free Nonprofit Webinar! Nonprofit Grants During a Crisis: Tactics and Strategies to Help You Adapt (Recording)
Recorded

Grant professionals are used to having to adapt to change even when there are plans in place. The current environment nonprofits find themselves in as a result of a crisis situation where we as grant professionals (and the grant teams we facilitate) need to adapt to change.

During This Nonprofit Webinar You Will Learn:

  • How to communicate with grantmakers during times of crisis;
  • How to engage and motivate your grant team even if working remotely for the first time;
  • How to stay up to date on new types of grant opportunities available as response/stimulus funding; and
  • You can also visit our upcoming webinars page to see examples of other webinars.

Yes, the impact of the stock market fluctuation may influence the size of grant budgets from private grantmakers in the future. Yet on the other hand, as seen in previous financial downturns or crises, it is likely that some foundation grantmakers will offer recovery grants and that government grantmakers will offer a variety of significant stimulus grants.

Grantmakers are already exhibiting some expected behaviors in response to large crises that nonprofits need to know about.

I have been working in the nonprofit field for more than 18 years, building nonprofit capacity as it relates to grant seeking. I have worked on staff at a grantmaking foundation, worked as the staff person managing grant seeking for a multi-million dollar statewide nonprofit, and led grant teams for clients in a wide range of sectors and communities.  My team and I worked with clients in 2008 and 2009 not only to make it through the shifts in grantmaking that followed but to thrive in the following year with an increase in grant revenue.

In this webinar I will share with you strategies and tactics that will help you adapt your grant seeking strategy so you can thrive in the upcoming competitive grant seeking environment.

Diane is specifically qualified to teach this webinar because:

  1. She is a Grant Professional Certified;
  2. She is an Approved Trainer of the Grant Professionals Association;
  3. She has secured more than $63.4 million in competitive grants; and
  4. She has been in the grant and nonprofit world for over 20 years.

Having worked as a grant professional for the past 18 years, Diane has had the opportunity to see how significant national and international events impact the state of grantseeking for nonprofits. While we are in unchartered territory, the successful experience Diane has from previous significant grantmaking shifts as in 2009 will help to guide you as your organization navigates the impact of a crisis on nonprofit grants.
