This Workshop is Perfect for you if:

Thursday, April 16th 1pm - 3pm ET

This Workshop is Perfect for you if:

  • You have been a grant writer/grant professional for 1 year or more;
  • You are looking to improve your grant writing skills to further your career;
  • You have participated in at least one grant writing course, webinar, or training;
  • You have never prepared a logic model and need help to get started;
  • You work with a team and need to reach consensus towards an effective program design to use in a grant application; or
  • You are looking to promote/ implement a scalable framework into your grant writing processes.

During This Nonprofit Workshop, You Will Create:

Each grantmaker has a unique application and asks you questions in different ways, but the reality is WHO you are as a grant seeking organization and WHAT you do should not change from one application to the next.

Having a framework for your programs/projects already developed and agreed upon by your colleagues about what you want to accomplish, what you will measure, and what actions it will take to get there are key elements of a blueprint that you can use to write each and every application, regardless of the length or type of funder.

In this live, interactive workshop, we will guide you through creating a program design blueprint (a logic model) with your own organization's information that you can use to write all of your grants from, whether foundation or government, immediately after the workshop. We will also practice how to use your blueprint information when reaching out to a grantmaker, whether you are doing the outreach or it is a CEO/Executive Director or someone else on your team.

The blueprint will be your framework for writing each and every application once you have it agreed upon with your colleagues, regardless of what your writing steps look like - your call on AI utilization to assist with writing. Your writing is only as strong as the program design foundation behind it - you NEED this blueprint for your application, however it is written, to represent what your organization wants to do and is capable of doing.

During This Nonprofit Workshop, You Will Learn:

  • How to gather the program design information to base every application on;
  • How to talk about the change you intend to create;
  • How to write clear goals and SMART objectives;
  • How to gain confidence in developing your blueprint (logic model);
  • How to use your blueprint (logic model) for each grant application;
  • How to work with a team to build your blueprint (logic model); and
  • How to adapt your logic model into specific grantmaker forms and narrative responses.

During This Nonprofit Workshop You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Utilizing your organization's information to complete the exercises;
  • Actively participating in workshop exercises; and
  • Asking feedback of your workshop presenters during the workshop.

You’ll Get These BONUS Materials:

  1. A logic model development guide
  2. A logic model success checklist
  3. A logic model template
