New Interactive Workshop! How To Shift From a Reliance on Grants and Events to Individual Giving
Workshop

Workshop Dates & Times:

  • Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST

This Workshop is Perfect for you if:

Individual giving is considered a key fundraising best practice, ideally representing the largest portion of an organization’s fundraising mix. But what if your organization relies on grants and events for most of its funding? In today's challenging fundraising landscape, grants have become more restrictive, while event revenue remains labor-intensive and time-consuming. How will this impact your organization in 2025?

If you are wondering how your organization can shift its reliance on grants and event revenue, this workshop is for you.

Much has been written on the subject of individual giving, yet little has been shared on how to overcome the obstacles associated with a change of this size. In this three-hour workshop, you will learn how to successfully articulate a case to diversify your fundraising mix, confidently address obstacles, and create a blueprint for change.

During This Nonprofit workshop, You Will Complete:

  • A Shifting from Grants and Events Workbook, which includes:
    • Communications Strategy
    • Stakeholder Recruitment Worksheet
    • Identification of Obstacles Worksheet
    • Donor Engagement Blueprint

During This Nonprofit Workshop, You Will Learn:

  • How individual giving fuels the mission of a nonprofit
  • How grants and events impact or stall the growth of a nonprofit
  • How to change the perception leadership has of grants and events revenue
  • How to build renewable revenue through donor engagement
  • How to identify and overcome the obstacles of change within your organization
    • How to become curious instead of furious
    • How to collect data to build a case for change
    • How to examine and correct false narratives
    • How to recruit advocates for change
    • How to formulate suggestions instead of complaints
    • How to address the fear of rejection
  • How to create a donor engagement blueprint
