Think of all the resources you have spent to create your fundraising event. The hours of staff time, the thousands of dollars put towards food and beverage, and the unflagging efforts of your volunteer event committee.
Sure the event may look good, the food may be tasty, and the wine may even be divine. But NONE OF THAT MATTERS if you haven’t put the time and effort into creating an engaging and meaningful stage program.
If your stage program is a snoozefest, you are losing out on guest engagement and donations.
If you bore them, you lose them!
This unit outlines the ABCs of great stage programs that build guest rapport, create a sense of community, and get the paddles raised during your Fund-a-Need. Here you will find stage sequencing that works, guidelines on inclusion of entertainment, tips on how to prepare emcees and speakers, and a deep dive into the anatomy of an awesome stage appeal.
You only get one chance to do your stage program right, so if you want to maximize your stage programs impact and rev up your Fund-a-Need’s profitability, this new CharityHowTo course is for you!
